Funded competitions use a token prize pool and, at launch, require the sponsor to live in Lagos and complete Nigerian verification: NIN for a person, or CAC plus the contact person's NIN for a business. How a sponsored competition works.

What your sponsorship includes.

One cost. No subscription.

Sponsored competitions come in three forms. Free competitions carry no prize pool and no commission. Available to sponsors from any country. Funded competitions have a prize pool: the prize pool you set, plus a flat 15% platform commission on that prize pool, both paid upfront from your token balance when you publish.

Opportunity-prize competitions have no prize pool. You pay a refundable fulfillment bond plus a 20% platform fee upfront. Bond bands by participant cap: 2,500 tokens (up to 50), 5,000 tokens (up to 200), 10,000 tokens (above 200). The bond protects winners. It comes back in full when you deliver the promised opportunity. If the competition never runs, everything refunds including the fee.

There is no monthly fee, no account subscription, and no charge for creating competitions that are cancelled before the registration deadline. If a funded competition is cancelled because the minimum participant count was not reached by the registration closing date, the full prize pool and commission are refunded to your token balance.

Funded competition example after launch: You set a prize pool of 10,000 tokens. Total cost to you is 11,500 tokens (10,000 pool + 1,500 commission). That 10,000 tokens goes to your participants. Challengers pay nothing to enter. Funded competitions require the sponsor to live in Lagos and complete Nigerian verification.

Tie handling for Top 3 positions: if two participants tie for a paid position, the payout for that position is held. You receive a notification and have 48 hours to decide how to split it. The platform default is an even split between tied participants.

Your tier grows as you run more competitions.

Sponsor tiers are based on total prizes funded. Higher tiers unlock larger token balance caps so you can fund bigger competitions.

Only payouts from completed competitions count toward tier progression. Cancelled competitions do not count.

For live events, you can choose an interactive session format: questions appear one at a time on a set timer, participants type free-text answers with no multiple-choice options, and the first correct answer received wins the point. Points earned in any sponsored competition format do not count toward a participant's tier progression; they rank participants within that competition only.
