No payment required during beta. The full commission model applies at public launch.

How a sponsored competition works.

What your sponsorship includes.

One cost. No subscription.

Sponsored competitions come in three forms. Free competitions carry no prize pool and no commission. Available to sponsors from any country. Funded competitions have a prize pool: the prize pool you set, plus a flat 15% platform commission on that prize pool, both paid upfront from your sponsor wallet when you publish.

Opportunity-prize competitions have no prize pool. You pay a refundable fulfillment bond plus a 20% platform fee upfront. Bond bands by participant cap: 25,000 naira (up to 50), 50,000 naira (up to 200), 100,000 naira (above 200). The bond protects winners. It comes back in full when you deliver the promised opportunity. If the competition never runs, everything refunds including the fee.

There is no monthly fee, no account subscription, and no charge for creating competitions that are cancelled before the registration deadline. If a funded competition is cancelled because the minimum participant count was not reached by the registration closing date, the full prize pool and commission are refunded to your wallet.

Funded competition example after launch: You set a prize pool of 100,000 naira. Total cost to you is 115,000 naira (100,000 pool + 15,000 commission). That 100,000 naira goes to your participants. Challengers pay nothing to enter. Funded competitions require Nigerian KYC.

Tie handling for Top 3 positions: if two participants tie for a paid position, the payout for that position is held. You receive a notification and have 48 hours to decide how to split it. The platform default is an even split between tied participants.

Your tier grows as you run more competitions.

Sponsor tiers are based on total payouts made. Higher tiers unlock larger wallet caps so you can fund bigger competitions.

Real questions. Straight answers.

  • Sponsored competitions come in three forms. Free competitions carry no prize pool and no commission. Open to sponsors from any country. Funded competitions use a real-naira prize pool and a flat 15% platform commission on that pool, both paid upfront when you publish. Opportunity-prize competitions have no prize pool: you pay a refundable fulfillment bond plus a 20% platform fee upfront instead. There is no monthly fee, no account subscription, and no charge for competitions cancelled before the registration deadline. Challengers always enter for free.

  • If a funded competition is cancelled because the minimum participant count was not reached by the registration closing date, the full prize pool and the 15% commission are refunded to your wallet. You are not charged for cancelled competitions.

  • Sponsored competitions use the platform's standard fail-forward scoring by default: up to three attempts per question with instant feedback, the same as group challenges. A sponsor can opt into custom weighted scoring instead, where each question carries the sponsor's own marks, participants get one attempt with no retry, and results are shown only after they submit. For live events, you can choose an interactive session format: questions appear one at a time on a set timer, participants type free-text answers with no multiple-choice options, and the first correct answer received wins the point. Points earned in any sponsored competition format do not count toward a participant's tier progression; they rank participants within that competition only.

  • An interactive session is a live, organiser-paced format. Questions appear one at a time on a set timer. Participants type their answers as free text — there are no multiple-choice options shown. The first correct answer received by our servers wins the point. You advance each question manually. Interactive sessions require an active internet connection throughout. Points earned do not count toward tier progression.

  • Opportunity prizes are career-mobility rewards instead of cash: a guaranteed interview, an internship place, a training seat, or a certificate. They are open to verified organizations only. Participants must be 18 or older with NIN verification at Skilled tier or above.

  • No. During beta, no real money changes hands. You can submit questions, run a competition with beta users, and see the full dashboard with real data. When the gaming license is confirmed and real money is enabled, the full commission model applies. Registering now is the only way to run a competition free of charge before public launch.
